Textbook Music, formed by Sean Rhorer (Invisible Youth PR) and Andrea Goonan (United Edge Records) officially launched this week. The label has also announced the signing of its first two bands.

The first, Marigold, is fronted by Vadim Taver, formerly of This Day Forward, and featuring members of Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer. The band will be entering the studio this july with J.Robbins to record their debut for a late 2005 release. The label has posted two tracks from the band and you can check them out here: "This Day Has Opened My Eyes" and "Movement One in A Minor."

The second is Renee Hearfelt, which includes former members of American Nightmare/GUTG, Striking Distance and Trial by Fire. The label has also posted a track which can be found here: "Mary Magdalene."
