Gearhead signs the Pink Swords

Gearhead has announced the signing of Austin, Texas-based The Pink Swords. The label describes the group as "raw, no frills, no image, in your face punk rock, [...]"no silly poppy edge, no whining." Four tracks from the band can be found on their myspace page.

The band will soon release their Gearhead debut Shut Up and Take It with the record tentatively due out in September. The album is the follow up to One Night High released on Mortville.

Actually, they appear to be pretty big New Bomb Turks fans - Their song "Tough Shit" is pretty much a collection of Turks' Riffs. -Ken

this is anti-pop, anti-heroes, anti-fashion, saw them in LA.. at the knitting factory, looking tired and ugly, then came out with balls and blew the boas of those hollywood pussies.

and gearhead's cd's are currently 5 bucks so go buy some dragons or turbo a.c.'s and listen to some kick ass music for cheap.
