Satanic Surfers to tour Europe, new album in September

Satanic Surfers have announced the dates for the first of two European tours for this year, with the second one to include trips to France and Spain. The band recently wrapped up recording of the follow up to Unconsciously Confined which was recorded in 2002. The new record, titled Taste the Poison is due out September 12th via Bad Taste Records.

The band has also posted a demo recording of one of the tracks that will appear on the record, and that can be found here: "Callousness (Demo)."

God I must be old too cuz I remember buying Hero of Our Time back in '95. Grade 11. Thankfully, my tastes have changed and I can now prefer to listen to the soothing sounds of an Eric Clapton record and go over the financial section of the newspaper instead of being bombarded by this noisy racket that you kids seem so fond of. Still waiting for this mythical age where my tastes are gonna change and I'll get some class as my Dad puts it. ....goes to listen to Hero of Our Time

yea, i don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon for me either. i know it's lame or whatever, but music like this has always just clicked with me in some perfect way, i doubt it will just stop one morning. thank god you're 2-3 years older than me though, haha. by the way, excellent name, though i personally woulda gone with Ice over Light.

i don't usually think of a couple of them as 'skate punk' bands, but good list. skate punk is, in my opinion, the most fun genre of music in the world.
