In September, Yellowcard guitarist Ben Harper will launch Takeover TV, an online TV station associated with his label, Takeover Records.
To host the show, Harper has enlisted the help of DJ Rosstar. Yellowcard recently completed the full length follow up to Ocean Avenue and Ben's label will soon release albums from Bracket, Inspection 12, Near Miss and others. In related news, Bracket has set a November 29th release date for Requiem. The record is the band's first for Takeover and the follow up to 2001's All Else Fails and 2002's Live in a Dive. Wow. So the guy from Yellowcard stole his name from the much more talented singer/songwriter, eh? I'd totally sue if I was the real Ben Harper. Then I'd roll a fatty (as Ben does) and bang a boatload of groupies. Ah, it'd be grand. -Dante 1+ Reply

that is weird that their are 2 guitarists named Ben Harper, the guy who sings "Diamonds On The Inside" and also this guy from Yellowcard. i would rather see Ben Harper, singer/songwriter over the guy in yellowcard.
