Shai Hulud has announced plans to remaster and reissue their two Revelation full lengths. The two albums, Hearts Once Nourished With Hope and Compassion and That Within Blood Ill-Tempered were originally released in 1997 and 2003 respectively.

The remastering process will begin on September 15th and the band adds:

They won't be available until next year. You have to have everything pressed and ready like 33 years before the actual release date can be set, and Revelation (and most independent labels) doesn't have winter releases. Next year it is. What can do you. Once the CD's are mastered, we'll throw a track or two online somewhere so you can complain how you like the sound of the originals better.

As for the DVD, the band adds "The editing of the DVD should in theory be done this week. Which means it'll be done this year."

In related news, Matt Fletcher's post-Hulud band The Warmth Of Red Blood has opted to produce an EP for their debut rather than a full length as originally promised. The band does intend to record by the end of the year, with plans to lay down three new songs for the EP with the hopes that a full length will follow soon after.

Since the break up of the band in 2003, they have toured Australia and New Zealand as well as releasing A Comprehensive Retrospective.
