Shai Hulud is a band out of Florida's prevalent hardcore scene, which has produced many other notable hardcore bands; Poison The Well, Keepsake(now emo) and many many more. Shai Hulud are aged veterans of the Florida scene, recording their first EP back in 1996. Shai Hulud's sound has matured over the years, however, they maintain an original sound. "Hearts Once Nourished..." released in 1997 on Crisis Records (now Revelation) reveals the mature progression the band's songwriting has gone through. The songs are emotionally charged and passionate, yet there exists within each song a focus and direction of their rage. Please login or register to post comments. Giving this 3 1/2 stars is fucking criminal! You know that's a Bad Religion cover right? Anyway The Hulud is amazing. New album drops in 5 months Shai hulud keeps the edge on hardcore music. Frankly Im very scared and prefer emo punk. But bands like thursday and brandnew that bring a little hardcore vox into their work are amazing. Try listening to a little known Baltimore group - Drowned under stars. My favorite hulud song - anaesthesia. go and listen to it kids. The old singer of Shai Hulud now plays guitar in NFG. what is the relation with Shai Hulud and NFG? Hey Lunk, if you like This Wake..., you'll love this cd, i guarantee it. the only song i like from these guys is this wake i myself have stirred. of course i haven't heard that much of them. i might have to check this album out though, because you make it sound rally good... Here's a fun quiz... he was the singer, douche bag got to love bands that featured a member of new found girlies as their guitarist. Yes, the person below me is a freak. Taste my gom jabbar ... dan, you are a terrible lay |
