Escapist Records has announced plans to release the debut effort from Northern California hardcore outfit Changing Face.
The band recently wrapped up the recording for the EP with Phillip Deveroux at Deathbot studios. The disc is titled Our Last Chance. AMP magazine describes the band as "Chunky old school hardcore [that] brings to mind Judge, DYS, and maybe a little Inside Out." You can preview a rough mix of one of the songs from the EP on the label's myspace page. Escapist Records (4 comments)

Myspace is a festering wound of soulless internet people with personalities as deep as Good Charlotte's lyrics. Now, it's been awhile and slowly gaining steam is the thought that a good way to reach out and gain some cred and acceptance with your music is to put it on myspace so a bunch of lame idiots can "add" you and next to their sideways picture ofthem standing in front of a mirror pouting will be a comment like "Hey dudes I luv ur sound when u coming to my shitty town?" God, this patch of internet needs to be bombed. Hmm? Oh, yeah I'm bored so I posted this here instead of in my liveblogspacejournal.....but actually I think it came from a combination of pumpkin pie, being bored, no Graham, and the fact that this bands music is so bad that I almost cried. I love Adam. | Features
