Warped Tour has confirmed several more acts for their upcoming annual swing. NOFX, Thursday, Motion City Soundtrack, and From First to Last will be making the annual Summer trip. More bands are promised to be added over the coming weeks and months.
The four bands join the first, recently announced act, Rise Against. Warped Tour (620 comments)

I already figured NOFX would be on. It still makes me happy that it's official now. Hopefully they're doing the whole tour this year and not just half like '04.
TheOneTrueBill (November 14, 2005)
I was worried that maybe NOFX wouldn't do it, since Pennywise wasn't on this past year's and they do every odd year. PHEW! Anyone else seen NOFX multiple times on Warped Tour but never in an actual venue? 1+ Reply

maybe finally this year joe queer will stage his anti-warped tour tour. he talked about it a while ago, playing the same cities on the same day with a line up of mtx, the muffs and some other like minded actual punk bands.i think its a great idea but i'd probably be the only one there in detroit. last year our warped date had over 31,000 people 2+ Replies

Does Motion City Soundtrack have nothing better to do or something? Don't get me wrong, I always have a great time when I see them play, but three years in a row? That's a bit much. Here's to hoping Thursday plays the South Florida date. I was planning on seeing them in 2004, but they dropped out to play a week later in the Curiosa Tour with the Cure and Interpol and a few other bands I liked. By the time heard about it though, the only tickets left were the crappy ones all the way in the back for fifty dollars. 2+ Replies
BTown (November 14, 2005)
How do they decide which cities to play? Are they the same ones each year? Is there a poll? How do they decide? Are there always the same number of dates? They've never come to my town. Not that I mind, just if I ever want to go I have to drive a couple hours. 4+ Replies

NOFX would be sweet to see, don't care much for the other acts, I think that has been established in lots of other posts...bring out Career Suicide and Brutal Knights, they are fuckin crazy! Hopefully BR, Good Riddance, Rancid (new record hopefully coming out in 2006), as I said before Career Suicide and Brutal Knights for the Toronto or Montreal stop. NOFX is like a museum piece, they only take them out of the case every two years to do a run on the big commercial tour where they won't get damaged and they can hide on the bus before and after their set. Can't let anyone bump into the display. Boring. Get some Bouncing Souls on this bitch or shut it down...
