Billy Bragg, the English sing-songwriter who incorporated the political folk of Woody Gutherie into the post-punk era, will finally see the reissue of much of his out-of-print material.
Yeproc will be releasing Life's a Riot With Spy vs. Spy and Brewing Up with Billy Bragg on February 21, 2006. His first two releases, Life's A Riot With Spy Vs. Spy and Brewing Up With Billy Bragg as well as Talking With The Taxman About Poetry will be available in deluxe double-disc reissues. The EPs Internationale and Live And Dubious will be packaged on one disc with a bonus DVD. For completists, all of the reissues will be available as a box set titled Volume One along with an extra DVD and a full-color book. Bragg plans to support the reissues with a two-week US tour following his appearance at SXSW in March. Yep Roc Records (20 comments)

I'm incredibly excited for this tour. I would love to see him. In some strange coincidence, while reading this short article Party Shuffle started playing "Valentine's Day Is Over"

I remember his one American tour date last year was in Bellows Falls, Vermont. I found it funny. And yes, I was there. 2+ Replies

Good news. I'm planning to spend January spending absolutely no pennies on anything other than my rent and put the rest of the wages on CDs. Chalk up some more to the list...
