Sonic Youth have revealed some of their plans for the coming year. This year, the band saw the re-release of their influential 1990 release, Goo as well as Koncertas Stan Brakhage Prisiminimui, the 6th album in the band's concert series. Proceeds from the release benefit Anthology Film Archives.

Due out next year are reissues of the Sonic Youth EP, Ciccone Youth's Whitey Album and frontman Thurston Moore's solo album Psychic Hearts. All three will be issued by DGC on CD, while Sonic Youth's own Goofin' imprint will handle the vinyl.

The band also began working on a new full length at the legendary Sear Sound Studio in New York City, with a released planned sometime next year.
