State of Mind Recordings has posted an update on their site regarding the happenings of their forthcoming releases.
Nitro Records act Crime in Stereo have made plans to enter Atomic Studios in the second week of February 2006 to record their portion of a forthcoming split CD/7" EP with fellow Long Islanders Capital (Tommy Corrigan, formerly of Silent Majority). A release is expected in Summer 2006. Crime in Stereo recently completed work on The Troubled Stateside, expected some time early next year on Nitro. Ferret's Dead Hearts will release a Live at CBGB's 7", with the compact disc form to come packaged with a planned reissue of the band's self-titled EP, which will contain new artwork as well. Both are expected some time next year. Dead Hearts' original release came out via State of Mind in 2004, while the band's debut full-length is expected on Ferret some time next year as well. Day of the Dead's debut full-length, A New Healing Process, is currently in the hands of Bionic Mastering. The final version of one song and an unmastered version of another are now streaming on the band's Myspace page. It follows up a recent split 7" with Ruiner. A release is expected early next year, while the band is currently booking Brazilian dates in support, with an itinerary available for viewing on their Myspace page as well. Recent signing Calentura are currently writing for their forthcoming EP on the label, expected early next year. The band will also be on next year's Warped Tour. Discography releases for A Day's Refrain and Tripface are currently in the works as well, with the former including a DVD. Both are expected out by Spring 2006. State of Mind Recordings (26 comments)

Dead Hearts are so great live, I've seen them twice now, once with Rise Against and once with Crime in Stereo, and they've always stolen the show. 1+ Reply
