Man, this label is weird. F2F, Legion of Doom and KRS-One. If they merged with Vagrant, they'd have an odder range than most majors. 2+ Replies

My Life turned out to be somewhat of a disappointment. Kris needs a new production team, most of the beats sounded boring to me - even though KRS still brings it on the mic. 1+ Reply

I remember getting into Sick Of It All, and listening to Blood, Sweat, and No Tears and hearing KRS-One on the opening of the 2nd or 3rd song. That ruled.

I heard that this guy talked at some Hip Hop function at San jose State a while back. Though I didn't attend I have heard all KRS-One did was talk about god and jesus and shit. Though this may be a rumor it would be a little bit of a let down. KRS-One has so much better stuff to talk about than Jesus (leave that to the pope). 3+ Replies

if you guys are into Trevor Keith and his latest endeavours, you should check out a band SECONDS TO GO from London Ontario, Canada whom he signed. 1+ Reply

Hopefully KRS-One backed off some of the crazy statements he made about 9/11: 2+ Replies

Like the dude above said, KRiS' beats haven't been up to par the last few albums, but no one is more authorized to speak on hip-hop and how it should be done than he is. And yes, it's also sadly true that he found Jesus. You'd think a guy as smart as he is would know better. I understand that spirituality is important, but I could never affiliate myself with a religion that comes complete with a Martyr Modification Kit (make your own blue-eyed deity!!!). And for the record, Boom-Bap may be the better overall album, but there are 4-5 songs on the s/t album that blow everything on Boom-Bap out of the water. "Clap ya hands everybody/ if ya got what it takes/'cause I'm KRS and I'm on the mic/ and Premier's on the brakes!" Call me a curmudgeon, but I just don't see how hip-hop will ever be better than that. I'm jealous of whoever got to s show rest of comment 1+ Reply
