New Submarine Races 7" out this summer / songs online

Chicago's Submarine Races have just recently released their self-titled debut on In The Red Records, and are following it up with a new 7" single this summer on Shit Sandwich Records. The release will feature three exclusive new tracks, including a Minutemen cover. It should be out this summer. You can download the track "1 Forward 3 Back" from The Submarine Races now on the band's MySpace page.

The Submarine Races features former Ponys guitarist / keyboardist Ian Adams along with Steve Denekas and Paul John Higgins.

Ponys in 2005 and was succeeded by Brian Case of 90 Day Men.

I'm just bored as fuck. I was supposed to be at a beach sampling Snapple for a couple hours, got cancelled due to the fucking rain. The station might pay me for a few hours anyways. (I work for WFNX, 101.7 in Boston. Snapple bought out the advertising until the 4th of July, so we're commercial free for 40 days. As a result, we do a lot of sampling and such. Such is life in Promotions.)
