Australia's The Living End have launched a new media player in anticipation of the North American release of their album, State of Emergency in North America on July 11th.
You can check out the player which features three album tracks here. The band recently joined Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day and manager Pat Magnarella's Adeline Records. Adeline recently inked a deal with Warner-incubator East/West Records for distribution. The album is the follow up to 2003's Modern ARTillery. Adeline Records (37 comments)

I never got the hype behind this band. All I remember was "Who's Gonna Save Us" being a pretty popular radio song at one point. 4+ Replies

Living End are one of the best bands out there that so few people give any credit to. Perhaps it's because they're Australian, but the last time I saw them, they were playing to about 60-75 people and they were fucking amazing. Such a good band.

Awsome albums, awsome live...the living end are just a tight band...Wish they were bigger over here because they're like gods in Aus. All their records are platinum and that kinda stuff... 2+ Replies

Three great songs. I absolutely dig Long Live The Weekend; fantastic writing and execution.

Nothing on this album has really seemed too impressive upon the first few listens, but Roll On is practically classic and both the S/T and Modern ARTillery are great albums, so I'm hoping this grows on me. I didn't really think it was possible for TLE to disappoint, but we'll see. 3+ Replies

This band's teaching me Australian. That way I can take sensitivity training bilingually!
