The Fall Of Troy have announced plans to reissue their rare self-titled debut. The band recorded the album, The Fall Of Troy, at the age of 16, and saw its release in 2003 via Lujo.
The disc will be reissued via current label, Equal Vision on August 22nd. Along with the wider availability, the label is planning "slightly updated artwork." The album was followed by the band's acclaimed 2005 full-length, Doppelgänger. Though the band recently cancelled their stint on the Warped Tour, they do plan to resume writing and recording with hopes to resume touring in the fall. Equal Vision Records (24 comments)

this is fucking horseshit. half the songs from their first record are on doppelganger, so essentially they've released the same album three times. anybody who buys this shit is fucking retarded. then again, so is the fall of troy. 2+ Replies

This band needs to make up their freaking minds as to whether they're still together or not. I swear they change their minds every week.

Rare?!?!? We sold tons of that record and had national distro before chosing to sell it to EVR. 2+ Replies

Eh, I won't lie, this is totally pointless considering that -- as pointed out above -- Doppelgänger's makeup was largely material from the self-titled re-recorded.

these guys could release their self-titled ten times over, half of which with new artwork, half of which without, and their crazy ass teeny-bopper fans would buy multiple copies of each one.

even though some of the songs were basically "re-issued" on doppleganger , there's a few that I would love to hear with better production. the self-titled album has some of the shittiest production I ever heard. 1+ Reply

At 16 I would be much less likley to listen to this. On a positive note though I WOULD be more likley to molest them.
