Hackers aim to take on AFI, Panic! At the Disco, All-American Rejects

Popular internet retailer Amazon.com has been hacked with a specific focus on recent popular emo and punk releases. Among the targets are albums from the All-American Rejects, AFI and Panic! At the Disco, all of whom recieved a makeover courtesy of the hackers.

As Amazon has endeavoured to correct the pages, some screenshots are attached.

My fraternity incorporates people from a diversity of backgrounds including African-American, Caucasian-American, Latinos, and Asian-Americans. In the past we have even had homosexual members. Ok I'll preface this by saing I'm not a fan of any of those bands (except pre sing the sorrow afi, but that's a completely different band in my opinion).

But come on, coldplay? sincere? important?!?! how the fuck are they either of those things? They write really shitty obvious songs that anyone could come up with. The listened to the bends and pablo honey too many times and watched too many U2 concerts.

Its funny that some of you make fun of Davey's sexual orientation. How can you know you aren't gay when you've never even touched a woman before? (watching porn on your computer does not count). If you have to resort to cheap shots at members of a given band during a discussion on music, your musical opinion is void.

With that aside, AFI has been a band for 14 years now. They aren't some new band that is going directly to MTV. They aren't like The All American Rejects or Panic! At the Disco who have contributed nothing to music. I don't really care whether or not you all like AFI, but some respect for them would be nice. Once any of you devote your entire life to playing music and tour as much as AFI has, then you can disrespect them as a band. But I guess it is just easier to be smartasses and ignorant.

they're fighting FOR the EMOS!!!! Those bands bashed around the Emos abit with a whole bunch of comments on how Emos are and shit. So an Emo got fed up and showed hoe they feel about those bands now.
This also might relate to that band that got its van, CDs, merch, and everything else stolen. Emos are tired of being screwed with and retaliated.
