Planes Mistaken for Stars who recently signed to Abacus Recordings have announced some European dates this summer in anticipation of their forthcoming Abacus debut. The record is the follow up to 2004's Up in Them Guts.

The band worked with producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis, Minus The Bear) in Seattle in mid-April. The album, currently titled Mercy is due out sometime this year.
