Subhumans UK gigs, plus plans for Citizen Fish split LP with Leftover Crack

Fresh off a North American jaunt, The Subhumans have announced some upcoming plans for the new year.

The band is planning some West Coast Tour dates in Leftover Crack in October, a new split from Citizen Fish and Leftover Crack. The band has also announced the addition of drummer Silas from Bath UK, and Silas will be performing with the band's upcoming US tour and split.

The long running band released their addition to the Live in a Dive on Fat in 2004.

In the meantime, the band has booked a hanful of UK dates later this month,

July 15, 2006	The Plug	Sheffield, UK
July 16, 2006	Mean Fiddler	London, UK	Hard Skin plus many others

this news makes no sense. how will they tour in leftover crack? and who is putting out a split the subhuman and leftover crack or is it citizen fish and LC? proff read please.

trotsky lives in germany now and has a baby son that's around 2. he missed last year's citizen fish tour to stay home with him. i'm guessing that's still the case.

Leftover Crack just played a show here in Lexington [the kentucky one] and the were complete asses. not bad music, they just acted like dicks. and asses.

Leftover Crack really are not worthy. I saw them last night (worst waste of 10 dollars ever), and they were just attrocious. Brad Logan is an okay guy, I'm sure, but they played for too long and Stza was strung out on something and being annoying. Ezra was all up in this rock star outfit. Not a good time at all. And the crowd were a bunch of mallpunk jackasses.

I saw Leftover Crack opening for The Subhumans in April, and the overwhelming majority of the people there were there for LöC. Same thing when I saw them with Against All Authority last week. And it's really noticable who they're there for before the show because most of their fans wear a Leftover Crack or Choking Victim shirt to the show. And then most of them leave after Leftover Crack plays.

Why do they have to do a split with those assclowns? Stza and Ezra are the cockiest drug addicts in punk rock. And not in a cool way like Keith Richards or some shit. I wish their band was better so it was a little justified. Oh well, 14 year olds who hate the government (but can't vote) are stoked. Oh yeah, nice face tattoo dork.

say what you want about LoC live shows but there is no denying the greatness of their albums. No Gods No Managers is such a fucking classic album, every song on there is an anthem. I say its better than the s/t Clash album.

Mediocre Generica and Fuck World Trade were really good too.

Well I haven't heard the album in question but I have heard medicore generica and I wasn't a fan. However maybe I should give this album a chance.

I didn't really like the Leftover crack stuff I've heard however I love the crack rock steady 7 stuff interestly enough.

For some reason, No Gods/No Manager got old after awhile for me. While I might not have admitted it a few years ago, I think Mediocre Generica was their best whole album.
