Helmet have posted the first video and downloadable track from their upcoming debut for Warcon Enterprises. The band will be releasing Monochrome on July 18th. For the record, the band enlisted Strap It On and Meantime collaborator Wharton Tiers to co-produce and return to the organic sound the band is known for.
The album is the first since 2004's Size Matters. You can check out the video via YouTube: "Gone" or via Myspace here. A downloadable version of the track can be found here: "Gone (MP3)." Warcon Entertainment (16 comments)

These guys suck soooo badly. I remember seeing them at the Warped Tour thinking how good it is that we moved away from that grunge/metal era. Hearing crap like this makes you really appreciate punk. 3+ Replies

The music sounds like helmet...only not quite as good. The vocals sound like Puddle of Mud. Not a good song.
