Ottawa's Million Dollar Marxists are currently in Bova Sound studios working on a new EP. The band is recording with Philip Shaw Bova, who engineered and mixed their 2004 full length Give It A Name. The EP, for which a title has not yet been announced, is expected in October and will be paired with a new video.
In the meantime the Marxists are headed down to Toronto for a gig with Protest The Hero and the Sainte Catherines on August 26th. Details on the show are still forthcoming. Gearhead Records (18 comments)

that show is gonna be snazy except I can't really stand Protest The Hero's music, but what I've heard of these guys they should be great and The Sainte Cathrines are juicy. 1+ Reply
