Boys Night Out have posted a band update via MySpace.
First, Brian Southall (drums) and Kara Dupuy (keyboard, vocals) have left the band. Kara is getting married in the near future and the reason for Brian's departure is still unknown, though he's currently on the road with the Recieving End of Sirens. Andy Lewis (formerly of the Fullblast) has officially joined the band on guitar. As for recording, the band recently finished a new currently untitled demo. They hope to record the follow-up to Trainwreck by January for a possible June 2007 release. There has also been talk of re-recording their first release, the You Are My Canvas EP. If it happens, the band will release it on iTunes along with two brand new songs around December. Performance-wise, Boys Night Out is scheduled to play the main stage at Wakestock, then will be hitting the East Coast and Canada with Moneen and the Junction. In November the band will be doing a headlining tour in the UK and potentially an Australian headlining tour in December. Ferret Records (12 comments)

Also, this article doesn't mention, but their second drummer Ben Arseneau, who played on Broken Bones and Bloody Kisses and Make Yourself Sick, is playing drums with them again now, although It didn't say if it was just temporary or not. 1+ Reply

For fans of Boys Night Out, I highly recommend the new Gatsbys American Dream album. It hits stores tomorrow, but check it: for $13 on their online store they'll throw in a shirt. | Features
