Media: Lucero on Air America Radio

Lucero frontman Ben Nichols recent visited the bastion of the liberal media itself, Air America Radio to appear on the Rachel Maddow Show. His interview and acoustic performance were recorded on the show and you can check it out on the air August 4th from 5am to 9am EST.

If you don't relish the idea of an early morning, the show is also available for streaming at 11am EST after the airing. You'll be able to check it out here.

The band recently revealed some details about their upcoming full length. The band has completed work on Rebels, Rogues & Sworn Brothers, their second album for their own Liberty and Lament imprint. It is due out September 26th.

Create an account to listen to the show .... I really don`t like to ... does someone record this and could provide this for all of us to enjoy?!?! Perhaps put it on sendspace.com, it`s not limited in any way and you can put massive amounts of data on for free ... would be a really nice thing!

maybe not pro-neo-conservative, but the case could be made that it supports certain elements of traditional conservative ideals, im talking ideals from 100-200 years ago like a small federal government that mostly keeps its hands out of the affairs of the private citizen.

it certainly doesnt reflect what modern conservatives stand for.

nobodys darlings is a good album but nowhere near as good as their self titled, tennessee, or that much further west...after hearing the songs on their website from the album they are about to release...i think they are headed back in the right direction...and i think it will be one of the best albums of the year

tennessee is the first one i heard and it is still my favorite. TMFW is fucking good, but tennesee just holds more emotion for me. haven't heard the new shit yet though.

Am I the only one who hopes Lucero never gets as popular as against me? Lucero is one the best bands yet to be exploited. Amazing, Amazing band.

WHo the fuck cares? I wish as many people as possible could hear this; it's that good. Technically, they "sold out" long before Against Me! did. Their last release was on a major. I think they aheva chance of being bigger than Against Me. Their sound is a lot more appealing to a lot mroe people. Go to one fo their shows. Youll see punks, scene kids, drunks, business men, Dads, Housewives; everyoen coems out to see Lucero.

Speaking of Air America, can anyone tell me what's up with the Majority Report? I can't really be bothered to listen to it on a day-to-day basis, since it's two hours long, and I know Janeane left, but is it continuing with just Sam?
