"Seminal swedish rockers The Hives are set to sweep the UK with their release of a new EP titled "Your new Favourite Band", featuring material from previous recordings on Burning Heart/Epitaph. The release is being produced by Alan Mc Gee's (of Oasis fame) new label "Poptones". Whether this is a good step forward for the band we are yet to find out.
The band is also expected to tour the states for the first time, in support of The (international) Noise Conspiracy, in early november. AND in more good news, we Geebens down here in Australia will be able to experience all that is The Hives when they play the LIVID Festival in the Australian Summer. " Busy guys…
