This past July things crumbled to our feet in a truly poetic way. It was a beautiful mistake. We had not given anything up, but the uncontrollable things around us, our management, our booking, our tours, had all seemed to fall to pieces. The humbling experience changed all of us. Some of us spiritually, but for others it was just an undeniable lesson but brought us all to our knees. You can read the rest of the lengthy statement on the band's MySpace.
We've spent the last couple months thinking through about 3 million scenarios and outcomes to this new challenge, while persistently trying to answer the question, What next? The changes weve experienced and the inspiration we've received is truly amazing. Just within a couple of weeks we've all unanimously decided to completely break-off and pursue our own personal journeys. For us its not a disconsolate realization...
Pittsburgh act Transition have announced that they've broken up:

They were terrible. I don't think anyone but MxPx liked them on that tour.

Most pretentious breakup message ever. Shut the fuck up, you're making us glad you're done. 1+ Reply

These dudes were wicked nice when i met them opening for RBF. Based on the strength of that, I busted my ass to help them sell merch that nice. Real nice guys.

Hahaha...it's funny that people always decide to follow their "dreams, and personal journeys" when the one they were just following goes to total shit. I guess you can call that a "beautiful mistake," but that's just as shitty an excuse as that Militia Group band with the same name. They should just say "it's hard being in a band....and we're too pussified and untalented to stick with it."

The only time I've ever heard this band was when they opened for Reel Big Fish, and needless to say, they were the only band I didn't enjoy that night. 1+ Reply

That one gay looking dude bounces around a lot on stage. Honestly, they put effort into being on stage and having fun, and I respect that. I still don't like their music.

i booked them years ago, they were really bland. i just checked them out for the first time since then, and they're still just as bland. im glad they broke up, a lot more bands need to follow suit. | Features
