Alex has sent out a post-Holiday update for Art of the Underground.

First up is episode #2 of the label's podcast. This episode documents the year of 2006 releases on AOTU, featuring songs and discussion about Frame, The Bayonettes, Kind of Like Spitting, Lemuria, and Kitty Little. Episodes are released every other Tuesday.

This Is My Fist and Giant Haystacks will be releasing a split 7" in mid-February. The split will feature two new songs from both bands. Robert Blake has a new full length album planned for February as well.

Year 3 of the label's successful Single Series is about to begin and will include releases from Young Offenders, Potboiler, the Unlovables, Drunken Cholos (original lineup of the Queers), the Methadones (Red Scare), North Lincoln (No Idea), Modern Machines (Recess Records) and Giant Haystacks.
