Japanese metal/hardcore/rock act Dir En Grey have posted the latest video from their Warcon/FYE full length, Withering to Death.

The video is provocatively titled "Agitated Screams of Maggots."

uhhh, this band is not hardcore. they're visual kei, which is more like marilyn manson alterna-metal type stuff. as the genre name suggests, there's a lot of focus on image and visual style.

Additionally, I can guarantee I've spent a hell of a lot more time actually IN Japan than you have so you lose round two as well.

anyways, this is probably the worst song they've ever put out. i do not have high hopes for this upcoming album but i have been a fan of theirs for years. the music they created from 1998-2002 were some of the most progressive during that time but the direction they've gone in now..what the FUCK

still gonna support their US tour though. their live show is wild.
