Japanese metal/hardcore/rock act Dir En Grey have posted the latest video from their Warcon/FYE full length, Withering to Death.

The video is provocatively titled "Agitated Screams of Maggots."

uhhh, this band is not hardcore. they're visual kei, which is more like marilyn manson alterna-metal type stuff. as the genre name suggests, there's a lot of focus on image and visual style.

but no. they're not hardcore. you lose.

You stupid emo kids need to broaden your horizen and stop listening to your american bullshit.Dir en grey happens to be one of the best bands that ive ever heard of , probally better then all the shit you listen to.

and 2.they are nothing like Marilyn Mansons dumb ass.they are not to be compared to any american suky group or artist , they have there own specified sound.

and 3.they are NOT visual kei anymore , stupid.they left that genre of music 3 albums ago.ass

Just because I think Japanese hardcore is funny does not mean I think every band from Japan is a hardcore band.
Additionally, I can guarantee I've spent a hell of a lot more time actually IN Japan than you have so you lose round two as well.

Isn't this that band with the super feminine dudes who stupid, fat, anime-loving girls in my Government class are in love with? If this is who I think it is, I guess I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, because I would never think those guys played any variety of anything that could be called hardcore.

If you were actually -AT- Family Values when a sh!t-ton of fans spanning all races and genders came to see DeG, yelling that "gay chinc manson wannabees!" you'd have been stomped into a fleshy ooze milkshake. anyways, this is probably the worst song they've ever put out. i do not have high hopes for this upcoming album but i have been a fan of theirs for years. the music they created from 1998-2002 were some of the most progressive during that time but the direction they've gone in now..what the FUCK

still gonna support their US tour though. their live show is wild.
