Tours: The Ataris

The Ataris, who recently signed to Isola/Sanctuary Recordings, have announced a headlining tour set to begin in February. The tour is in support of their forthcoming album Welcome the Night, which will be released February 20th, 2007.

The band released So Long, Astoria in 2003.

Didn't Kris want this to be a different band? That begs the question of "will they play old stuff?"

Honestly, they should just play "Blue Skies, Broken Hearts...Next 12 Exits" all the way through, with a few other songs here and there.

Sure that propelled them in the mainstream. but they were huge as shit even when they were still on Kung Fu records so I woulden't really say that the covers what got them big. it did get them bigger no doubt.

I really do feel that this band has gone to shit, I don't really know what motivated them to switch from catchy punk to crappy radio rock, maybe they have been hanging out with Unwritten Law a bit too much.

i bought the album based on that song and the rest of the album sucked complete dick ass. i was young and naive though.
