Tours: Thrice / Norma Jean / The Receiving End of Sirens

Thrice has announced a short tour in May in anticipation of their upcoming as-yet untitled double-double album. Thrice are self-producing the four albums, which are each around 30 minutes long. According to reports, the band is considering releasing the four albums in pairs, with just a few months in between. System of a Down took a similar accelerated schedule with their recent double album. They released their last album, Vheissu in 2005.

Joining the band for the tour will be Norma Jean and The Receiving End Of Sirens. Tickets are on-sale now, and you can buy them here.

Not to be too anal about anything, but what purpose did that SOAD shoutout serve? Not only are they terrible, but it messed up the pronoun-antecedent relationship in the next sentence.

its the same article (as in copied, and then pasted here) from when punknews originally reported that the albums would be released in such a way.the last sentences were added after the pasting. it made sense to include it in the original post , but now, yes, it should have been cut out, as the "They" in "They released..." refers to system, but was meant to refer to Thrice.

i disagree with the coment above, I think thrice is great, treos is ok, and norma jean blows. Either way, i wud not go to this show
