Former members of The Ducky Boys and Reach The Sky have resurfaced with a new punk project. The band, dubbed Super Wicked Awesome Good Guys has released their first two demos.

No.. youre thinking of Chris.. He played in RA and Reach the Sky.. The guitar player (Jim) in this band was the original Reach the Sky drummer..

Super Wicked "Pissah" Awesome Good Guys- too long-hahaha.

It was either Super Wicked Awesome Good Guys or GoGobotsGo.
Either way it was lose/ lose or in our eyes win/win.

Please keep in mind these were the first two rough 4 track demos.
We put a whole half hour into the production.

There's much more to be heard coming up in the next few months.
You can expect to hear some hard fast melodic punk rock with a touch of hardcore. We'll be looking for a label throughout the summer as well as a few small weekend tours to get started.

Really? I thought that singer wrote all the songs. I don't know dude, I never saw them live (I don't think they've made it up to Upstate NY in a while) especially recently but I find it hard to believe they sounded anything like this band. So I wonder how big of a contribution the dude made.

I saw them in ohilly at a dogs show they were good, but not great like they were with the old line up that was 3 people.
i will always be a ducky fan the song writing is incredible something i can relate to they seem like average doods having fun and playing with their heart

i hope the break up isnt for good, i wouldnt mind seeing the new guy/ex members new band in philly

Joe played with them for like 6 months , long enough to contribute to the newer songs that were demoed. He's also been playing in many bands based out of boston for the past 16 years. Not all were so noteworthy as Ducky Boys. When they needed someone to carry on the life of that band they asked him & Tom. Knowing he wouldn't be doing much writing with The Ducky Boys , he was in the midst of forming this band as a project with some of his friends.

I really don't see anywhere except for here that's been claiming any relation to their former bands.

You obviously have no clue about those dudes lives and/or anything that was happening with them when the band called it a day. Mark will continue to write awesome songs and perform as will Joe with his new band. Regardless of what any anonymous inernet posting person who uses the word "pussywhipped" has to say.
