Murder By Death releases limited edition 7-foot long gatefold vinyl

Murder By Death has a treat in store for those who've waited for the vinyl of their 2006 release In Bucca al Lupo. The release features red double 10" records dipped in gold ink with a quadruple gatefold cover. All told it ends up being 7 feet long when extended and only 1000 are in existence.

Two things to do about "not getting it":

1) Get a sense of humor.
2) It's a reference to a really funny Neil Simon-penned movie starring Peter Sellers and a slew of other great comedic actors/actresses.

That's what I was thinking. About 3 for every person who would even want one. They might be a bit popular, but they don't have that big of a following. Plus, the odds that the vast majority of Murder By Death fans also collect vinyl is pretty low.

they will probably sell out in pre-order.

i actually own "Like The Exorcist . . ." and "Who Will Survive . . ." along with the limited edition tribute 7". Lots of their fans collect vinyl and I'm on that list.

They have indie rock fans, OF COURSE THEY COLLECT VINYL!
