Queens Of The Stone Age detail album, set date

Queens of the Stone Age have posted some more details about their upcoming record. The record is titled Era Vulgaris and is due out June 12, 2007. It follows up 2005's Lullabies To Paralyze.

Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and the Strokes' Julian Casablancas are both scheduled to appear on the record, as is on-again/off-again contributor Mark Lanegan. The article also describes the album as harder and faster than past outings, naming songs "Sick, Sick, Sick," "Battery Acid," and "3's + 7's" as examples.

I wish Nick Oliveri was still in the band. Because now they don't play Millionaire live. Which sucks. Only he can sing/scream that song, apparently.

never liked these guys. eagles of death metal however are fucking incredible. if you don't think so, drink a few beers and try again, it will change everything

They might as well have broke up. Indestructible was horrible.

Fall Back Down??? holy crap. That chick scarred Tim to the point he began writing completly whiny un-Rancid crap. And due to the divorce was forced to sell out his own band and hers to a major (allegedly).

Before her, Tim had balls. Lars didn't have to have a side project to make good music. She Yoko'ed the hell out of'em in my opinion.

(I still hope they can come back with their next album)

They both moved to Warner before the split. Sorry.

Not to sure about that.

They may not have signed the final paperwork and all but the split was what caused the move (reliable sources say). Both events happened mid 2003. The album which was about the break-up was written 2002-2003. Trust me, he made the sale to pay for the impending legal preceedings. If you think that the two events were not related you might want to put down the crackpipe and get some fresh air.

Fall Back Down is "Un-Rancid"????..........I have to tell you buddy that song sounds more like rancid than anyhting i can think of.....same chords they always use, same tempo they always use, same sound mix they always use (turn up the bass so we wont notice that these chords are the same ones we used on like 14 of the 28 songs on our last album), same subject matter,(you know,down and out by some means....you split with your girl, your first band was like to popular?, , you are working for the salvation army, a girl ripped you off for dope, she dont care nothin, blah blah blah.........Not only does the song sound like Rancid, The video looks like every fucking Rancid video I have ever seen..........A bunch of 50 year old guys with big guitars jumping around in a room with awesome "words" like punx spray painted on the wall.......fresh.
