Generally I regard all those "mallgoth" girls with a certain amount of disdain, they're like the token fat cheerleader in highschool, dressing up in costumes so people won't notice how dumb and unattractive they are. However, I saw possibly the hottest "mallgoth" girl working at Hot Topic the other day. It was the fist time in awhile that I was concerned about having a noticeable erection in public.

dude, yeah, that's Wil Francis from Aiden. He was on last year's Warped, but they're not scheduled on the site for this year's. They kicked a lot of ass that summer, I really enjoyed them.

I know, really. Just looking at this comp makes the tour seem much better than it actually is. I wish the Mad Caddies and Smoke or Fire were on the tour this year.

Fender Teles are pretty good for that. Fender has a semi-hollow-body tele with humbucker pickups, but I forget the name, and that one sounds awesome. Fairly cheap, too.

tard.... teles tend to have a twangy sound and are only good if you listen to pussy ass country or bad ass bruce springsteen. the gay indie bands that use em are only tryin to look cool (el hefe excepted)

a) That twangy sound that's so easy to get out of them translates to sick lead tone if you're not going for big distortion.

b) you CAN get lots of shit out of teles, especially that hollowbodied one with the neck humbucker. I think it's the '72 or something. That thing gets so warm you can heat your house with it if you play along to a Cream album.

and THEN you go on to recommend a Rickenbacker 360, another guitar that is generally known as twangy sounding.

this is all coming from someone who doesn't even like Fenders. Get a Les Paul. If it's an Epiphone change the pickups and you'll be fine. I've got a Duncan '59 in the neck and an Invader in the bridge of my Ep

Yea, it's the Thinline. Those are pretty cool midrange guitars.

Les Paul Custom.....since you're just starting out, you might want to try some epiphones first because they're a lot less expensive. but les pauls weigh twice as much as telecasters.... the solid woods that gibson uses gives it warmth. If you get a tele, you're just gonna envy everyone with a les paul once you start to learn more.

if you have the cash a fender Jazzmaster or Jaguar would be perfect, Its practically the standard for indie/alt/noise bands liek Sonic Youth, Dinosuar Jr and My Bloody Valentine.

3.99 is my limit. and even then id wait till all cd's were half off.

That's actually about how much most places charge for it so I hope you're planning on buying it.

Yeah I agree, but Just One More has about 10 out of 15 decent to good tracks. Rock The Plank was a favourite in high school but its pretty poppy at times
