Inquisition plan live DVD+CD on No Idea

Inquisition has announced that their recent reunion shows will be filmed and recorded for an upcoming CD/DVD that will be released via No Idea Records.

The band's other release, Revolution...I Think It's Called Inspiration was reissued via A-F in 2005.

It's been ready to go a few times, but the HWM guys have kept finding new stuff that they want to include. Once they settle on what they want on it, it'll be out.

The first night was incredibly tame compared to the 2nd. I really hope there ends up being more of the 2nd night on the DVD.

You're right... but I'd say that it was a good thing. At least for those of us old enough to have been around when the band was together.
Both nights had amazing energy... but night two also had an undercurrent of violent, boneheaded assholism running through a faction of the crowd... which was NOT welcome.

I'm actually looking at the footage right now that I'm sending off to be edited. Both nights were amazing, maybe the best 2 shows I have ever seen. Way tighter than I expected. Best song of the two nights? "Day by Day"....shit went crazy.

cool pics... i dont know if we met officially. ive talked with you before about filming, and i believe you talk to the bassist from my band's girlfriend on aim... invited them to a bbq pre sat-night show that they forgot about or something?

either way, those are some cool pics, are you eventually going to post them all?

and lastly, they did professionally record the sound for this dvd right? im like 99.9% positive, but just wanted to make sure.

dvd's without good audio are always such a dissapointment for the most part.

Yes, I worked with Day By Day on the filming, they brought in someone to professionally record the audio. Its gonna be an awesome DVD.

No. The sound quality is pretty poor, I've seen better bootlegs.

I was there too. (on night #2) I one of the guys that was old enough and saw them the first time around. I kept my perch on the upper level just above the stage on the right. That was fucking amazing. Even better than I though it could be. I can't wait to see the end result of the footage. A quick comment about the violence, that one fucking dude in the brown shirt that kept running on top of people's heads needed to have his fucking legs broken, he was a dick the entire night.

All in all I can't wait to see the end result although as cool as it would be to catch myself in it, there is no way there were cameras panning up to me.

Are you fucking retarded? Claiming that one flaming asshole stomping peoples heads and generally being an asshole saved the show from being terrible is one of the dumbest things I've ever read. He was a total jerk. The show was amazing. I didn't see the studded dude from night #1 but I will take your word for it. There is such thing as fun without brutally trying to injure people.

Most of those same assholes are the ones that brought the richmond scene to a hault a few years back with their "gangs" and "violence". Luckily, some of the bigger assholes went to jail or got their asses handed to them by Raymond, Four Walls members, etc etc. The gangs went away, the jail time turned a few queer, but they still remained assholes, as was evidenced at the shows. The best way to handle those kids is to pull them down discreetly and let them fall.

I went with my friend on the second night. Fucking amazing show, loved every minute of it. It honestly makes me sad that they are not around anymore playing shows reguarly.
