Woodland, CA-based
Gearhead Records has announcing the addition Steven's Point, WI's Bob Burns and the Breakups to their roster. Label CEO Michelle Haunold described the band's inital demo as having "hints of classic old '77 punk mixed with some of the trashier style rock n' roll I've been releasing."
The band's first full-length release with Gearhead, Terminal Breakdown, is scheduled for release on June 27, 2007.

I like their stuff reminds me of their labelmates the New Bomb Turks a bit. However, the alliteration in the name reminds me of that episode of Animaniacs where Brain became acountry singer and adopted the moniker Bubba Bo Bob Brain. | Features
