you little bitchs, sometimes kids shouldnt have access to their parents computer, like when they put down bands like the bad brains, that have done more for punk rock than you could ever dream of doing, sit back on your high chair and listen to the new shit you call punk, because anyone critiquing the bad brains surely shouldnt be posting here,,,,old punks still do it best 8+ Replies

I know how inspiring the bad brains once were and I totally appreciate it.but they were also a bunch of religious homophobic fruitcakes. 8+ Replies

Lovin' the reggae tracks, but the hardcore stuff just isn't what it used to be. 4+ Replies

Wow...what happened to the band that put out Rock For Light? This is awful if you ask me. The punk is uninspired and the reggae even moreso -at least they came up with their own mediocre punk riffs, i've heard most of these recycled reggae riffs 10 times each. They've got one day until their legacy is effectively shit upon. 4+ Replies

Wow that guy earlier was an idiot, the first song is shit, i hard to stop there and i am considering not listening to the rest so as not to ruin the brains image in my mind. Now lets get to more important issues, GET the new Against Me album out there! spread that shit if you got it and tell us where its at. Since getting punhced in the face by a dumb jock at AM's show with Mastadon, part of me wants to hate the record. so I can officially say... 4+ Replies

If I wanted to listen to homophobic bands, I'd buy a Reliant K record. 4+ Replies

Well, it might be a decent record but myspace is making it sound like a turd.

OK sure this new Bad Brains isn't Rock For Light or At The Movies quality but come on, it's pretty damn cool. At first listen I was like hm, this isn't so hot but after a couple more listens the music rips. HR's vocals are different and take some getting used to when your expecting Pay To Cum. The reggae stuff is good as well minus one song. For the youngsters out there, you are more then entitled to talk shit on the band and some of what you say is true but so many of you guys have absolutely no roots at all which is to bad. You should go all the way back to the Stooges then Ramones era and then 80's hardcore and go from there. At least check out some of the roots of bands that are around today.

All criticisms aside...this IS still the best Bad Brains album in over 20 years AND it sounds a hell of a lot like "I Against I". If you hate that album then you'll probably hate this one....I for one loved that album and I think this one is pretty damn cool too (despite HR's lack of aggression).

To all over 25 fans, people who like THE WHOLE Bad Brains discography and anyone with broad and open, multi genre taste in music. Its pretty damn good. Try listening with an open mind and not ever reliving Black Dots. As for you haters....What do you actually enjoy??? | Features
