New Mexican Disaster Squad have announced their previously digital-only EP released via Jadetree last month will be available on vinyl soon. There will be a U.S. version, and a UK version. The UK version will be released via Rat Patrol Records, and will be limited to 500 copies, with the first 150 orders receiving pink vinyl. It will feature three original songs and the band's cover of Government Issue's "Understand". The US version will be available through Kiss of Death Records and will also contain the three original tracks and the band's rendition of 7 Seconds' "Here's Your Warning."

7" or 12"? i have my heart set on keeping my vinyl collection only 7"s, but I have a feeling that's gonna have to change.

I am sooo on this. I've really become a bigger vinyl nerd lately and I'm not sure that's a good thing. Besides it has Horse Bites artwork, that shit rules.

Am i reading this right, each of the 7" has a cover song exclusive to that release?
Someone (July 8, 2007)
It's weird they covered a G.I. song from that era but now it makes total sense.

So I already pre-ordered the UK Version, like a tool. I seriously don't see NMDS stuff being a huge collectors item, but I love 'em and if that requires buying two 7", so be it.

Good band. Dan Yemin says they are one of the best hardcore bands out there right now. |
