Recent Sire acquisitions and Canadian pop duo Tegan and Sara have posted a stream of their upcoming release on their MySpace page.

The record is titled The Con and is due out July 24, 2007. It is the follow-up to So Jealous which was released in 2004.

Ok so right....Tegan and Sara are beyond brilliant in their songwriting and lyrical composure as true musicians, and as I am sure most of you are looking for harsh and unruly low-end music....I suggest you not bother tuning your small minds into the beautiful world of their art.

i am excited to hear this, i enjoyed their last one alright, but really i am interested in hearing Chris Walla's production, plus whatever the drummer from Death Cab's name is, he does the drums. So there should be plenty to listen for.

I think this album is really intellegent and Tegan and Sara are amazing writers and know matter what people say about the record Its deffinatly one of the most asmzing records out so far :)
