Media: Whole Wheat Bread posts "Girlfriend Like This"

Jacksonvile, FL's Whole Wheat Bread have posted another new song from their yet-to-be-titled Fall release. The song is called "Girlfriend Like This" and can be heard at their MySpace page. The new record, the follow up to 2005's Minority Rules, will arrive via Fighting Records.

The band is currently on a west coast tour with No Use for a Name and the Flatliners.

you dont know nothing about h.r. you little fuck. isnt it funny when the dudes from propagandhi stae openly they love the bad brains. but we have these little kids who are under the age of 22 who act like they know about scene rules and regulations. i mean fuck i make comps with bad brains then go! then behead the prophet/mukilteo fairies. so dude give it up and find a real fight to attack. hr doesnt go around slamming fags and does not make gay jokes like most of you morons on this site. he had a song with a sentence about fudge pops (hahaha) a long time ago. all (including bob marley) reggea music is homophobic. its part of the culture. and you know most black men are homophobic in general. this just goes to show you know nothing about the real problems in society. punk rock has lost its meaning a long time ago because of people like you. stop hitting hr for something

They were never very good but songs like Old Man Samson, Police Song, and No Future were pretty good songs. Girlfriend Like This is so fucking terrible I am not buying their new cd.

Two things:
1) I'm pretty sure the tour with NUFAN and Flatliners is long over. Maybe not when this was submitted but by now.
2) Our new episode this week on SSR features Whole Wheat Bread....I'm not going to try influence anyone's opinion about this band.

Uhmmm...It says at the end of the story that Whole Wheat Bread, No Use For a Name and Flatliners are currently on tour. They aren't. the tour ended a little while ago.
Also, I run a podcast called Sound Scene Revolution (SSR) and we have a new interview up with Whole Wheat Bread. The URL to the show (www.SoundSceneRevolution.com) used to be the link in my profile but I've since changed it, so I still have a tendency to refer the show SSR, even though no one probably knows what I mean.
