P.S. I don't want to shit talk Epitaph, I think they did a fairly decent job by signing Gallows, but this just seems like a billion other bands I've heard.

totally shocked that this is the label that chose to sign them. I've been following these kids for a few years now, and they really are pretty exciting. definitely not my kind of music, but for a bunch of high school kids, I've always been seriously impressed with what they can write.

may not be my cup of tea, but hey...props, kids! I'm really hoping that they use this as an opportunity to expand more as original musicians; it's cool to knock off your favorite bands and imitate sounds when you're a local high school band, but with this new level of exposure I really, really hope they develop more as real ARTISTS.

You know, I think everyone here needs to stop being so irrationally critical. Grow up. I'm good friends with every member in this band, they are extremely talented and ABSOLUTELY deserved this. They are completely unlike anything you've ever heard or seen, give them a chance before judging. I've heard 4 of their unreleased songs and I must say that they are some of the most talented writers in music to this day. Matt Wentworth, the lead vocalist/ guitarist is an absolute genius.

yah seriously, like the person above me said, this is an amazing band. i've been listening to them since they started back in 2004, and i remember going to see them at shows and thinking, wow, these guys are gonna make it big one day. the guitar player/singer matt is no doubt the most talented kid i have ever met. they're in no way "generic", all their songs are unique and all equally amazing. listen to punk and hardcore, which i am also a fan of, but they are extremely repetative and generic. i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and you dont have to like them, but don't bash them and say they have no talent. these guys are awesome, and deserve everything that comes their way.

well, i like this band a lot, and now start talking shit about me because apparently ignorance is key in punk rockers these days. just because a band isn't your taste doesn't mean they suck. and yes, half the bands today do sound like eachother, but it's kind of hard to be original when everything's already been written. you just need to learn to fit into a genre, not create a totally new one. but if you can, more props to you. you need to learn to pick out the small things that separate bands from eachother though. like in my opinion, the screams in this band are amazing. and i like the fact that i can sing along. this band doesn't suck, people who are tone deaf suck, that's fair to say, but they can all play instruments and the singer is amazing. so, in conclusion stop being ignorant and if you don't like their style of music, just say that, not that they suck.

Can everyone remember when skateboarding was the huge thing like 5 years ago? yeah..that died quick...just like screamo will too...and soon all these shit fucking bands will die out when the 14 year olds finally turn 16. bands like this are not capable of any sort of real talent...or more than one album. listen to some fucking real music you bunch of fags. hurry up. hot topic may be having a sale...and i know all of these kids in oln...they are nice kids too...but honestly, you cant go far with this music...sorry.
