Videos: Atreyu: "Becoming the Bull"

Atreyu has released the first video from their upcoming major label debut. The record is titled Lead Sails Paper Anchor and is due out August 28, 2007. It is the follow-up to A Death-Grip on Yesterday which was released in 2006.

The band will kick off a headlining tour in early September.

i'm gonna be bitched to death for this.... but shit video aside, this isn't a bad song at all (this is coming from someone who's been pretty neutral towards atreyu in the past - i have two of their albums and like about half of the songs).

of all the pop-metalcore bands to go all pop-rock on our asses, these seem to be doing the best at it. certainly better than 18visions...

hahahahaha. I love Atreyu. They are probably my favorite band of all time. Awesome video. I love the way they combine singing, wicked guitar, and screaming. The only thing that I love more than Atreyu is when this site posts an article on them, and then it turns into a night at the Apollo with cutting them down. I swear that Atreyu brings out the best wits in all those who hate them and their music. When all else fails, reading the comments about Atreyu on this site always puts a smile on my face. And now I can't wait until people read this and cut me down.

why do all my favorite bands have to start to get lighter... most of my favorite screamo and hardcore bands seem to be doing alot lighter stuff than they used to
