Gallows vocalist Frank Carter is in the news again, this time with a pretty brutal onstage injury during the popular hardcore/punk act's gig at Stoke Sugarmill.. The incident took place at a maximum capacity show where the band
had asked not to have a barrier between the audience and the stage.
Fans piled on to the stage one by one, stagediving and singing with Carter. Shortly into the set, Carter and one fan mock-wrestled and sang together, but both tumbled over in the commotion. Carter's forehead smashed against the floor, and he started bleeding from the wound. Despite this, he continued the song before leaving the stage and heading to the hospital to get stiches for the head wound. The band released Orchestra of Wolves in the United States via Epitaph this year. Epitaph Records (34 comments)

This band is just....bad. If this is the current sound of Epitaph, that's a shame.

Didn't this happen a lot, like, three years ago? I think Converge put it best on Petitioning the Empty Sky.

saw the lead singer from the fad do the same thing when opening for BTMI!.. he went to the hospital, line was too long, so he just got some gauze, came back, and played the rest of the set at the end of the show. now that is hardcore.

Big deal. The drummer from young livers played a full set at fest last year with a broken leg. One of the HWM guitarist played once with a freshly broken wrist, no plaster or nothing. And kevin from north lincoln did about a week and a half on tour with a broken leg after it went on him a few shows in. This guy gets a little cut on his head, leaves at the end of the song, and it's news?
