Pitchfork has provided some details on the Constantines new deal with Toronto based Arts & Crafts. The Guelph-founded post-punk act has signed a worldwide record and management deal with the label, amicably parting ways with Sub Pop at the completion of their contract there.
The band is now working on their follow up to 2005's Tournament of Hearts with Jeff McMurrich again engineering. The record is expected this coming March.
On Saturday the Cons will participate in a free show at London, Ontario's LOLA feat alongside Akron/Family, the Hylozoists, the Meligrove Band and the Acorn among others.
