Vancouver's The Black Halos have cancelled their Western Canadian appearances with Seattle's Supersuckers. The band's given no reason for the cancellation, but states that everything is otherwise on track for their follow up to Alive Without Control. It should arrive early next year.

supersuckers are pretty good most of the time, but every album has at least three forkin terrible songs on it.

I saw the halos open up for the New Bomb Turks in Victoria a few years ago, and they were better than I thought they would be. Except the one guy who dresses differently from the rest of the band.

Quite possibly they are taking some time off the road to work out a new stage show, since they are very weak live. Watching them and listening was uncomfortable, they have some good riffs, but are way too lazy about thier sound and seem to not have legs under them. |

One of the worst bands I've seen live, I saw them open for Social D and they were awful. After the show they were all by their own merch booth and one of the band members had a sign that said line up here and were basically begging people to buy something. I felt embarassed for them.
