Much loved ska/punk act Blue Meanies have posted a live track recorded during their much anticipated reunion for Chicago's Riot Fest. The band performed "Smash the Magnavox" from their 1997 album, Full Throttle.

Shit, man, these guys still sound SO GOOD together. I wish they'd go back to at least semi-full time, I haven't seen them in 7 or so years (I think the last time was before The Post Wave came out; I saw them in March '00 with Less Than Jake at Northern Illinois University),

man, i love me some blue meanies. i lucked into the pave the world picture 10" disc a while ago...someone recently posted the meanies' AMAZING open letter to (i think it was) island records re: not getting the support they wanted, etc) i just can't say enough good things about them... 1+ Reply
