yeah wow, this is bad, especially given how much they said they'd never do it again after last time.
BarleyPat (November 30, 2007)
The addition of AM makes this warped tour instantly better than last years no matter what happens from here. Not that it says alot, but still.... Last years's lineup may have finally been the nail in the coffin for me.

This board's about to become a shit storm.
mr_fub (November 30, 2007)
even if there are a couple of good bands, spending a whole day to see a good band play for a half hour, all the while having to deal with 12 year olds and pay way too much for a hot dog just doesn't seem worth it. unless i take acid. then, maybe...
Splendidtune (November 30, 2007)
They could go on a headlining tour that would be a million times better.
TJMiller718 (November 30, 2007)
I hear this year's Vans Warped Tour is going green, I guess they heard that money grows on trees. hope they ship all those shitty bands overseas like they did the factories...
InaGreendase (brian) (November 30, 2007)
Well, they're batting .500 so far. They keep this up and I might have to make a return appearance.
dontwantaname (November 30, 2007)
Meryl Streep is such a fuckin hottie. I hope she gets naked onstage and stagedives into us moshers hands! woot 2008!
ArtieFufkin (November 30, 2007)
do the guys in AM! own homes? if they do, what's the point? they would be wise to invest in Holiday Inn or Hilton.
MattRamone (November 30, 2007)
it's burning and it's burning, it's burning,

if the Bronx & Against Me! played a regular tour togther I might actually pay to see AM! again because The Bronx would likely melt all the annoying people that listen to AM! for the catchy chunes yo.

I posted before, but here it is again, anybody going to the Action Patrol reunion in Richmond on saturday? After all the love of Inquisition, I'm surprised there hasn't been a peep about this one.
Julio (November 30, 2007)
Im getting sick of against me! already, I dont care about the label bs but the fact that they keep having on shitty tours is starting to tick me off.
letmesleep (November 30, 2007)
As long as they keep moving down the AM! Bronx line this might actually be a tour worth seeing.
Torgo (November 30, 2007)
I bet Against Me! are still gonna play The Ocean even though they only have 30 minutes.
655321 (November 30, 2007)
Does anybody think its even remotely probable that Pat Sajak and Vann White have not boned once?

AM! will be awesome..but the crowd for them will be insane..however, as long as the stomp/union stage is at the barrie date, i will be happy as a f%*^$ing clam!
hhrules (November 30, 2007)
Will anyone here go if they added Rise Against, Anti-Flag, Nofx, Bouncing Souls,Millencolin,

I used to like the warped tour. I went to it two years straight. I used to think, yeah this is cool, all these bands get together in one place and maybe some fashion headed kid will become turned onto punk after seeing a band like Against Me or The Unseen or something. Now I have realized the whole fest revolves around money and really doesn't represent anything about punk (the recycling tent is cool I guess). I will never go to a Warped Tour again unless Minor Threat, the original Misfits, or some other ridiculous old school band who I will never have a chance to see perform live are playing. I wonder if there has ever been a protest outside of the Warped Tour. Sounds like a good idea to me. My memories of warped tour will forever be Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Far from Finished, NOFX (just to see how shitty they really are when they play), and The Offspring. All bands I have only seen once (except far from finished) and bands that I will probably never see again (not that I really want to).
Jesus_H_Christ (November 30, 2007)
As much as I love Against Me! I still won't go to Warped Tour. It seems boring and completely absurd. Go to a massive show with a ton of stupid kids in the hot sun to see a thirty minute set while buying 6 dollar water. Sounds like FUN!
Seanzor (November 30, 2007)
Alriiiiiiiiight! I'll go for AM and the Bronx, don't give a shit about the other two.
red_eye_inc (November 30, 2007)
It was kind of fun to see Against Me at Lollapalooza because nobody knew who they were so they had to win everyone over all over again. I can't imagine their half hour outdoor set when you're 200 yards away and there's a billion people there. This will be the first time they've come through Chicago and I haven't seen them in about four years. That includes seeing them twice last week.

Seriously? "The Devil Wears Prada"? Somebody seriously fucking named their band that? Like, for serious?
xfightmenowx (November 30, 2007)
I just want to say this, I have never been to a Warped Tour, and I take pride in that.
allison_le_gnome (November 30, 2007)
As usual, 16-year-old girls are psyched. Shitty ones, not cool ones like me a year ago.
internetsanta (December 1, 2007)
well, 2003(i think) was the last warped i went to. it was pretty decent excluding good charlotte,311, and alien ant farm. hell, me first, bouncing souls,h20,rancid, ect. i saw so many good bands in years prior to that one as well. VGS, hot water music, snapcase, bosstones, good riddance, no use, deviates, one man army, flogging molly, nofx, bad religion, the list goes on and on.
andreatobrazil (December 1, 2007)
i'll go for am!, even though i know i'll be disappointed again. and perhaps i'll see the bronx, as well. but nobody gives a shit about the other two.
NoCountry (December 1, 2007)
i'm 26 and after a shitty breakup went from 181 to 166 pounds. i've stopped losing weight but i am still a little flabby. how can i harden up my mid section. crunches seem to be working only real slow and really it's not that much. i drink a lot of beer. is my only option to quit all the booze. i do lots of running. 4 miles 5 times a week. any suggestions on how to stop this plateau i've hit and get a little more hard/lean? |
