New studio video from The Loved Ones

The Loved Ones continue their leadup to February's release of Build & Burn. The band has posted their fifth studio video which promises " Dave Hause and Dave Walsh nerding out over some beautiful guitars, be warned, it gets geeky"

I really like the new album. It's really more pop/rock than anything punk related but I enjoy it. I found myself singing along to "Louisiana" today in the car (that may be because it's like 10 words long) and just enjoying the whole thing. I'm sure a lot of fans won't like it though.

The album is just great, I agree. The first few times I wasn't feeling it, but it grew on me huge after a few spins. I loved Keep Your Heart, this is different, but just as good.

I'm digging it also, but it definitely caught me by surprise. The first few songs sounded exactly like I would've expected, but then all of a sudden the entire feel of the record changes.

while I really enjoy the album and think its their best output so far, I think louisiana is the weakest track on the album...

the new album has some good songs obviously, but overall it is boring. and only 10 songs long with half of it being filler isn't a good thing

i have my younger brother pirate music for me sometimes..i dont know where he gets it..and i dont ask..i just place my order.

but i just got the album and i dig it. track 6 and 7 not so much at the moment.

i'll still buy it when it comes out though.

Initially, I liked 8 songs from the new album.

Now I'm down to 7. I fucking LOVE 1-4, then 5 through 7 are kind of shitty, then 8 through 10 get awesome again.

So.... shit. A "B" grade? Maybe?

I don't know, when the album comes out and I buy it, I'll be able to read all the lyrics, blah blah blah, and probably like it more. That's usually what happens.

Stoked for the Chicago show.

Hahaha. That was amazing. True story: The Cleveland stop on the Explosion/(I)NC, Rocket From the Crypt tour some years ago, the Explosion ended up crashing at my place...the next day I took them to Heights Guitars to check out some guitars and to meet Jimmy Zero from the Dead Boys (he used to manage the place). Someone in the band bought a fucking rad, vintage LP Junior. I wonder if any of them still have that guitar... Anyway, that's a funny video. I'm content to wait to buy the album when it comes out...
