Temporary Residence, Ltd. (Explosions In the Sky, Envy) has announced the signing of Louisville, Kentucky's Young Widows. The three piece released Settle Down City in 2006 on Jade Tree. According to the band's MySpace page, they'll be recording four live shows with Kurt Ballou (Converge) on the way to God City Studios in Salem, MA, where they'll "spend 8 more days in the studio with him recording our next full-length album."
The new album, scheduled for release in the fall of 2008, will contain selected live songs recorded during those four dates.
