The Warped Tour has announced the bands playing the Smartpunk side stage on the long running tour. Specific lineups will vary by city of course but over the summer the stage will host bands including Set Your Goals, the Higher, the Human Abstract, Alesana, A Day to Remember, August Burns Red, The Maine, Stick to Your guns, Forever the Sickest Kids, the Secret Handshake, Every Avenue, Madina Lake, Just Surrender, Cinematic Sunrise, Automatic Love Letter, Four Year Strong, Bring Me the Horizon, Confide, Sky Eats Airplane, Classic Crime, the Morning Light and Danger Radio.
Also, the tour has announced that they've added an August 5th date in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the Credit Union Centre. This is, in part, a replacement for the Vancouver show, which is missing from the routing as a venue could not be confirmed. The event announced it's routing last week. Warped Tour (43 comments)

Saskatoon a replacement for Vancouver? I really don't think anyone is going to drive 20 hours from Vancouver to go to fucking Saskatoon just to see the Warped tour. There are enough good shows in Vancouver already. Once again, the vastness of Canadian Geography is underestimated.

Saskatoon? They'll draw like half the amount that Vancouver does. Maybe less.

Every single one of those bands is terrible. They should stay in Saskatoon when the show's over.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but on the Bamboozle page Face to Face is not listed anymore.

saskatoon? strange. i guess that might attract some people from winnipeg and other surrounding areas.

I think the intent was to add another Canadian date since they couldn't get a venue for the Vancouver show, not neccesarily as a "replacement" per se.

"Forever the Sickest Kids" has to be the worst band name I've ever heard. 2+ Replies

So why did it take 3 days for this to be reported on here anyway? 3+ Replies

They couldn't get a venue anywhere in the Vancouver area? I think there might be more at play than they are telling. Maybe the border at the peace arch is too hard to deal with, or the routing didn't allow time for it. It's not the first time they've skipped it. I'm sure UBC is going to be building condos on top of Thunderbird stadium any day now. 1+ Reply
