Tours: Dead To Me (US, Europe)

San Francisco's Dead To Me has scheduled a few months of tour dates in the US and Europe. As previously reported the band will hit the road in March with Teenage Bottlerocket and the Femurs. Following those shows the group will hook up with the Bouncing Souls west coast tour to provide support along with Mercy Killers. Afterwards the band will hit Europe for a tour alongside Sweden's Millencolin.

Dead To Me released Cuban Ballerina in July of 2006.

So i havent been in a band for a few months now and i really miss that feeling more than pretty much anything. I got to the point where i really didn't be near a guitar but thankfully thats all changed now. and also i think a lot of it has to do with the fact that im kind of jealous my friends bands are getting on some cool bills now. Has anyone got any advice on how to start a band second time around?

'm 24 and after a shitty breakup went from 180 to 166 pounds. i've stopped losing weight but i am still a little flabby. how can i harden up my mid section. crunches seem to be working only real slow and really it's not that much. i drink a lot of beer. is my only option to quit all the booze. i do lots of running. 4 miles 5 times a week. any suggestions on how to stop this plateau i've hit and get a little more hard/lean?

Nail down exactly what you want to play in terms of style, dont compromise just because you miss playing or being in a band, i've made that mistake for and paid for it (lost time?). I'm currently kinda at the point you were months ago, but dont want to burn any bridges..

Saw these guys with Gaslight Anthem a few months back. Pretty good live, but the bass player is so god damn annoying on stage someone needs to tell him to just shut up and play. No one gives two shits about your opinions.

Agreed. I loved Cuban Ballerina and was reallly pumped to see them, and the way he acted on stage really dissapointed me. Really abrasive to the audience, and not in a sarcastic way. He also did the stupid "people move around at shows in (insert band's hometown) but I guess nobody does here, you guys are fucking lame" line. He did try to recover at the end though, by being over the top nice before the last two songs. He mentioned he had gone to rehab again too. Sad. Jack seemed pretty cool though. I'd seem them again.

I felt that way when I lived in Ireland. Bands would play 4-8 shows in Britain and then skip Ireland entirely. I know there's only 4 or so real cities to play(you could argue there's only 2), but the fact that I missed Rival Schools entire existence because I happened to spend 8 months in Dublin is really shitty.
