The lymphoma is back. Thankfully not with a vengeance. It's manifested itself in my left eye. So... it's back to the scanning board. Had two on Friday. An orbital CT scan and a PET scan. If it is indeed only in my eye, then i'm going to argue for a lesser treatment than last time. My side effects with Chemotherapy 2006 were almost non-existent but that's not to say that it didn't still totally suck. So there's that. It's not all bad news though. Bob has a number of fun musical projects linked in the blog, including mini-songs and collaborations with friends.

I love you Bob. If only you could play a song, to tame the beast that it is, you would defeat it in the opening notes.

Having the right attitude toward this kind of thing is half the battle. I'm glad to see he's remained positive and not gotten all, you know, emo about it.

funny, i was just lookign through this site's list of labels and wondering how often the Braid logo is actually used. i will remove my foot from my mental mouth.

Aw man, this is totally bogus. I ran into Bob at Spitalfield's last show a little over a month ago and when I asked him how he was doing, he said he had a clean bill of health.
AlmostPunkEnough (February 12, 2008)
goddamnit, life is so fucking cruel.

The Rutgers women's b-ball coach just used up any remaining good-will credit I had toward her and her team after the "nappy headed hoes" debacle. What a whiny bitch. I'm referring to her post-game comments after losing to Tenn. They may have gotten robbed, but that was just a no class way of dealing w/ it.

Sucks, hope he gets well soon. |
